About Us
Ancestral history and a grandfather's cook book are the corner stones of Olde Tyme Spirits.
In the summer of 2015, two competing brothers ventured on a true distiller's blood challenge of who can make a better distilled spirit, using the family recipe. From that day on, Will, the youngest brother, continue the journey on to carry the family tradition of small batch handcraft distilling forward to the opening of Olde Tyme Spirits. To date, Olde Tyme Spirits remains sincere to crafting in the Celtic style ways of making brandy, whiskey and cordials.
Similar to the earlier time of distilling, Olde Tyme Spirits is a “members of the family workforce” business operation from fruit picking, mash preparation and distilling. It is always quite a celebration of hard labor in the mountains to the tune of Irish ballads and Celtic music as additional compensation!
Family and culture is essential to Olde Tyme Spirits being that America is founded by immigrants of various countries. With a goal to celebrate diverse cultural backgrounds came the creation of ethnic distilled spirits such as Rakia, Slivovitz and cordials.
Taking on a challenge is becoming a beautiful attribute of Olde Tyme Spirits. The ability to learn new concepts and optimistically explore the creation of a new product while applying traditional processes we known to heart makes our team more passionate to handcraft distilled spirits.
Olde Tyme Spirits is driven to present a genuine tasting experience and, aims to tingle the senses that will linger in a taster's mouth, while at the same time being taken back in time of the early years of how our forefathers truly would have appreciated their spirit of choice. Hence, becomes a pleasant memory of the past that a taster keeps in mind to forever reminisce.
